Stewart Koenigsberg is a 27-year resident of Wilton. He and his wife, Jane, have three children, all of whom attended Wilton’s public schools.
Stewart retired from General Electric as a GE Company Officer in 2015. He was most recently the President & CEO of GE Capital Markets, where he managed all capital markets activities for GE Capital worldwide. In his previous position as Chief Financial Officer of GE’s Commercial Real Estate organization, he was the finance leader for a global $90+ billion investment business, with operations in 16 countries. He served in a variety of other GE senior leadership positions including CFO and Chief Investment Officer, in financial planning, investor relations and portfolio management. Before joining GE in 1989, he was a senior manager at Arthur Andersen & Co, a global accounting, auditing and consulting firm, leading both audit and consulting engagements. Stewart has served on a variety of corporate boards.
Relevant to the Wilton Board of Finance role, Stewart has extensive experience in financial management, financial and operational controls and regulations. He has deep experience in commercial and residential real estate.
